Lacoste Swaps Out Crocodile Logo From Shirts To Showcase More Endangered Animals

In continuation of a project from last year, Lacoste is yet again trading its legendary crocodile logo for a variety of endangered animals found in different countries.

The wildlife campaign is part of the brand’s three-year deal with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). The capsule features 10 limited edition ‘Save Our Species’ polo shirt designs spotlighting 10 endangered animal species.

Each species gets its own polo shirt, and the number of tops made corresponds to how many of a specific species are living in the wild. To date, 3,520 shirts have been made, according to Highsnobiety.

The official partnership between Lacoste and IUCN was formed last year when both companies agreed to raise awareness and generate funds for wild conservation together.

The limited edition shirts will be sold at £135 (US$172.26). Interested buyers can get more information on the species featured here. Official sales start on 22 May 2019.
